Analytical Services

Imperial Scientific provides material characterization, electrochemical and photochemical analysis, and technical support for understanding experimental results and developing effective research workflows.

Projects may involve in-house analysis, testing coordinated through outside laboratories and university facilities, or a combination of methods selected around the material and research objective.

IN-HOUSE CAPABILITIES

-Raman spectroscopy

-FTIR spectroscopy

-Optical microscopy

-Optical rotation measurement for chiral compound characterization

-UV-Vis spectroscopy

-Melting point determination

-Electrochemical analysis

-Photochemical analysis

-Gamma spectroscopy and dose rate measurement

-Ionizing radiation screening and comparative survey measurements

-Experimental data interpretation

-Analytical method and workflow development

ELECTROCHEMICAL AND PHOTOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS

Imperial Scientific can evaluate materials and experimental systems using electrochemical and photochemical methods. Projects may involve electrode performance, photocatalytic activity, light driven reactions, material response, experimental controls, and development of repeatable testing workflows.

Testing can be designed around the research question, available samples, operating conditions, and intended application.

EXTENDED CHARACTERIZATION

Additional testing can be coordinated through ISO accredited laboratories, university facilities, and specialized analytical partners based on project requirements and facility availability.

Available methods may include:

-HPLC

-GC-MS

-XRF

-XRD

-TEM

-Other specialized analytical and characterization methods

Testing performed by an outside facility will be identified as third-party analysis. Available documentation, accreditation, reporting format, sample requirements, and turnaround time depend on the selected laboratory and method.

SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT

Imperial Scientific can help clients select appropriate analytical methods, design useful testing workflows, understand their results, identify limitations, and determine what additional data may be needed.

Support may include reviewing analytical reports, comparing methods, evaluating sample preparation requirements, interpreting results within the experimental context, and integrating data into a practical research or development workflow.

PROJECT INFORMATION

Please provide:

-Material or sample type

-Requested analysis or research question

-Number and approximate quantity of samples

-Known or expected composition

-Relevant preparation or processing history

-Handling, storage, or safety requirements

-Required detection limits, specifications, or comparison standards

-Preferred reporting format

REQUESTING ANALYSIS

Analytical services are currently provided through project-specific quotes. This allows Imperial Scientific to select the appropriate methods, review sample requirements, coordinate outside testing when necessary, and define the expected reporting before work begins.

As standardized analytical workflows are developed, selected services may become available as directly purchasable options with defined sample requirements, deliverables, turnaround times, and pricing.

Each project is reviewed for technical feasibility, sample requirements, available methods, safety, and outside laboratory coordination before acceptance.
